Around 500 ornamental plants were planted under Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu (Becakayu), Cipinang Melayu, Makasar East Jakarta, Thursday (2/21).

"It is done in a bid to prevent misuse action of irresponsible persons in the area," said Cipinang Melayu Urban Village Head, Syahrul Munir, Thursday (2/21).

He stated that these plants have various types such as, red toppings, jasmine gambir, double deer, rawelia, and daffodils. They are planted in RW 04, right on the side of Kalimalang, in front of the Borobudur University Campus.

"In future, we plan to develop an interaction space for locals under the toll such as, integrated child-friendly public space (RPTRA) and sport courts," he said.
